Stratotanker Overhead

A U.S. Air Force Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker aerial refueling aircraft photographed in flight from below against a flat, overcast white sky. The aircraft is painted in overall grey and bears "U.S. AIR FORCE" lettering on the fuselage. "USAF" is stenciled on the vertical stabilizer, with "AFRC" and "MARCH" unit markings and the tail number 23507 visible near the tail. Four podded jet engines are mounted under the swept wings. The aircraft's boom refueling equipment is visible extending from the rear of the fuselage. A U.S. national insignia roundel appears on the fuselage. The tight telephoto framing isolates the aircraft cleanly against the grey-white sky.
